Mark Martyre - Montague Street
Montague Street is a band to see in 2010.

In autumn 2009 the group released their debut album and for that have already received solid media attention--and an interview on Rogers TV. Last year Montague Street performed throughout the GTA, including at the Horseshoe Tavern and El Mocambo. And this year the band is taking their show on the road, beginning with an appearance at The Spoke on campus at The University of Western Ontario.

Montague Street is a band raised on the sounds of classic rock 'n' roll. Featuring musicians Mark Martyre (guitars, harmonicas, vocals) and Laura Rodie (saxophones, piano, backing vocals), Montague Street performs original music with spirit, meaning, and energy. Their songs will set your toes tapping, while their shows, like their debut album, will inspire you (at times) to dance and sing or (at others) sit back, relax, and have a drink. Recently the group was featured in Snap! Magazine after they "rocked [the house] with its style of indie music."

Montague Street performs regularly as a duo and as a full rock band.
